Experience the tastes of Hawaii and beyond as the AACD Charitable Foundation presents an evening of culinary artistry showcasing Hawaii’s acclaimed Chefs of Aloha. Join us in supporting the Foundation’s worthy causes and the 10th anniversary of the AACDCF’s primary program, Give Back A Smile, which restores the lives and smiles of survivors of domestic violence.

Tickets are $100 (USD)person on-site at the AACD Registration Desk.

Chef Henry Adaniya - Most noted as owner of the highly regarded Trio restaurant in Chicago, Illinois, Chef Adaniya has focused on his own vision throughout his career. He is inspired by new directions and new ideas. This philosophy has taken him a long, long way in culinary arts.
Chef Chai Chaowasaree - Owner of award-winning Chai’s Island Bistro, Chef Chaowasaree has made appearances on numerous cooking programs including TV Food Network’s The Gourmet Getaway and CNN Travel. He is known for providing the best contemporary island and Pacific Rim cuisine.
Chef Fred DeAngelo - Executive chef and owner of Ola at Turtle Bay Resort, Chef DeAngelo’s signature recipes have been raved about and published in several cookbooks and other media outlets throughout the state. Ola continually catches the attention of local and national media for its award-winning cuisine.
Chef Dave Kodama - Known to all as “D.K.,” Chef D.K. owns and operates nine restaurants on three islands. He has traveled around the United States, Mexico, and Caribbean to introduce his palate to a world of flavors and culinary styles specifically honing his cooking skills in sushi-making. He is also the author of D.K.’s Sushi Chronicles from Hawaii: Recipes from Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar.

Chef Russell Siu - Co-owner and executive chef of 3660 on the Rise, Chef Siu offers a delicate blend of European, Pacific Rim, and island-style cuisine. A nomination to the Who’s Who Among Chefs by Cook’s Magazine is among his many culinary awards.

Chef Anthony Kui Sin Vierra - Executive chef of the Grand Cafe & Bakery founded in 1923 by his great-grandfather, Chef Vierra uses classic techniques and knows no ethnic boundaries.
Chef Goran Streng - Owner of Tango, winner of the Best New Oahu Restaurant, Gold, Chef Streng brings to the table Finnish culinary training and vast experience working for top-of-the-line restaurants including Ritz-Carlton Mauna Lani.
Legend Seafood - Established in 1990 in Chinatown Cultural Plaza, Legend Seafood focuses on Hong Kong Cantonese-Style dining. The popular Dim Sum is a highlight that should not be missed.

MC for the Evening
Rick Hamada, one of Hawaii’s most popular radio personalities, will MC the Celebration of Smiles event. He hosts the morning drive talk-show, “The Rick Hamada Program” on News Radio 830 KHVH, and is a strong advocate of eliminating domestic violence, everywhere.
