DTC and the AACD have negotiated discounted convention air
programs with various airlines. The AACD has selected American
Airlines, Northwest, and United Airlines to be our official airline
carriers.
American Airlines: 5% discount on all flights booked to the 25th
Anniversary AACD Scientific Session.
Northwest Airlines: 5% – 7% discount on all flights booked to
the 25th Anniversary AACD Scientific Session.
United Airlines: 2% – 15% discount on all flights booked to the
25th Anniversary AACD Scientific Session.

From the Honolulu International Airport, it is just a short ride to the
Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa. The AACD does not
provide transportation between the airport and contracted hotels.
However, there are several options for this 20-minute transfer:
• Taxicab fare is approximately $30 (USD) one-way, plus any
driver/porter gratuities you choose to extend.
• Airport shuttles are provided by Aloha V.I.P. Tours, Inc for $30
(USD) roundtrip. An Aloha V.I.P. Tours, Inc representative will
meet you at your gate with a placard bearing both your name
and the AACD. The representative will then greet you, walk you
to baggage claim, assist with collecting your luggage, and then
walk you to your shuttle.
Aloha V.I.P. Tours, Inc will greet each member of your party with
a complimentary flower lei. To make your transfer arrangements

Daily shuttle services to the Hawaii Convention Center (HCC) will
be available to AACD attendees. Conference shuttles will transport
attendees staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort &
Spa to the HCC where most scientific session activities will be held.
Shuttle schedules will be posted at a later date at www.aacd.com.
Shuttle service will be offered throughout the day and for evening
AACD social events.
