Scientific Program

The 24th Annual AACD Scientific Session features cosmetic dentistry’s most comprehensive continuing education for the entire dental team. Throughout the week, conference attendees learn about the latest advancements in cosmetic dentistry through a variety of mediums intended to provide an in-depth learning experience. Emerging technologies, new clinical techniques, team-based courses and practice management strategies are the basis for the world’s premier cosmetic dental CE event.

Continuing Education Credits
Conference attendees are eligible to obtain certified continuing education credits for their participation in the 24th Annual AACD Scientific Session. The AACD is a certified CE credit provider for the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the National Association of Dental Laboratories.

General Sessions
Each day at Excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry 2008 begins with a keynote speech aimed at energizing conference attendees to maximize their performance beyond the world of dentistry. Renowned presenters at past AACD conferences have included: Oscar Winner Geena Davis (2007), The Capitol Steps (2005) and Erin Brockovich (2004), among many others. 

Lectures
AACD’s Annual Scientific Sessions features the world’s most esteemed educators in the dental profession. The Academy’s large-scale lectures feature a multi-disciplinary approach to continuing education, providing a broad perspective on the evolving treatment techniques in cosmetic dentistry.

Hands-On Workshops
AACD’s highly demanded hands-on workshops feature intensive learning opportunities for dentists and laboratory technicians. Materials and supplies are provided by AACD’s corporate sponsors while attendees work one-on-one with esteemed educators and their colleagues. Specific hands-on workshops are available to dental team members.
